This policy explains what IndieSwell processes, why it is needed, how it is protected, and the choices available to you.

Scope and contact

This policy covers the IndieSwell website, Studio app, and related support services. Send privacy requests to privacy@indieswell.com.

Information we process

We process account details, project metadata, local asset indexes, platform connection status, publishing records, billing status, security logs, and support tickets. Creator matching processes the project's confirmed game category, selected platform, and the matched public channel, follower snapshot, content language, and anonymous aggregate records. Steam Keys stay only in memory on the current Studio page and are never uploaded.

• Local assets and custom copy stay on the user's computer by default.
• Match results may show public channel information, but never personal contact, legal identity, or payout details.
• We do not sell personal information.

Purposes and service providers

We use information to provide the service, handle requests, secure accounts, prevent abuse, and meet contract and legal duties. Cloudflare, object storage, and the active email provider may process the minimum data required for their role. Paddle handles only IndieSwell software plans and digital add-ons.

Retention, security, and transfers

We retain data for service delivery, contracts, disputes, and legal obligations. Account deletion removes data through the documented process, except records that must be kept for finance, security, or audit. We use encryption, access control, least privilege, redacted logs, and protected backups. Providers may process data outside your region under their contractual and legal safeguards.

Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion; withdraw optional consent; or ask about processing. Required account-security and payment messages cannot be disabled. We verify the relevant email, account, or channel control before acting.

Cookies, children, and updates

The site uses only storage needed for operation, security, language choice, and human verification. We will update this notice and consent controls before adding non-essential analytics. IndieSwell is not directed to children below the local age of digital consent. Material policy changes will be dated and notified where required.
