Refund Policy

This policy explains which IndieSwell paid-subscription payments it covers, how to request a refund, how requests are processed, and the role of the Merchant of Record.

Coverage

This policy covers payments for IndieSwell paid subscriptions (Pro and Max) that are processed by the Merchant of Record identified at checkout. It does not replace the Merchant of Record buyer terms that apply at checkout.

Merchant of Record

Payments for all our orders are handled by the Merchant of Record identified at checkout, which handles customer service inquiries and returns.

Subscriptions, automatic renewal, and cancellation

Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the selected billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and there is no cancellation fee. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and what you paid for stays available until then.

How to request a refund

To request a refund, contact us through the official email shown below or through the support entry in your order receipt email. The desktop client does not include a self-service refund button, so requests are handled through these contact channels.

14-day money-back guarantee

If you are a new Pro or Max subscriber and you are not satisfied with IndieSwell for any reason, you may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of your initial charge by contacting us or the Merchant of Record through the support channel shown on your receipt.

Cases supported for refunds

Refund requests are assessed in good faith based on when the purchase was made, how the service was used, and the reason given, including cases such as:

• A duplicated charge for the same subscription.
• A fraudulent or unauthorized charge.
• A payment processing error.
• A paid feature that is materially unavailable and cannot be restored.
• A withdrawal or refund right under applicable law that has not been waived.

Digital content and statutory rights

IndieSwell is a digital subscription service. Where applicable law allows it and you consent to delivery starting immediately, the statutory right of withdrawal may be limited. This policy does not limit any mandatory consumer right you have under applicable law. The Merchant of Record may approve refunds beyond this policy under its buyer terms.

Processing and payout

Each request is assessed in good faith based on the purchase time, the usage of the service, and the reason given. Approved refunds are issued by the Merchant of Record to the original payment method, and how long the money takes to arrive depends on the payment provider. Refunds are not issued as platform balance, wallet funds, stored value, transfers, or discounts on a new order.
