Terms of Service
These terms cover accounts, content, Steam Keys, third-party platforms, subscriptions, creator matching, and permitted use of IndieSwell.
Accounts and licence
You must be able to accept these terms and are responsible for your account, devices, and credentials. IndieSwell grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the site and app under your current plan.
Content, accounts, and Keys
You must have the rights needed for every asset, post, platform account, and Steam Key you use or distribute. You keep ownership of your content and allow IndieSwell to process it only as needed to provide the requested service.
- Do not send spam or engage in fraud or infringement.
- Do not bypass platform restrictions, verification, or security controls.
- Do not manipulate metrics or automate private third-party interfaces.
Third-party platforms
Publishing, creator matching, media pitching, email, video channels, and payments depend on third parties. API, review, region, or policy changes may downgrade, pause, or move a feature to assisted mode. IndieSwell does not guarantee wishlists, sales, views, creator responses, coverage, or other commercial results.
Plans, renewal, cancellation, and payment
Products, terms, prices, and entitlements are shown before checkout. Paid subscriptions renew for the selected period until cancelled; cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period. Paddle acts as Merchant of Record for IndieSwell software plans and digital add-ons, including payment, tax, receipts, chargebacks, and disputes. The IndieSwell app has no discretionary refund button, but this does not remove rights arising from applicable law, duplicate charges, fraud, payment errors, disputes, or a Merchant of Record decision.
Suspension, termination, and liability
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts and tasks involving illegality, infringement, abuse, security risk, chargebacks, or platform-rule violations. The service is provided as available. To the extent permitted by law, IndieSwell is not responsible for indirect loss, third-party platform decisions, or outages beyond its control.
Changes, law, and contact
Material changes will carry a new date and notice where required. Governing rules include mandatory consumer law at the user's location, the operator terms identified for the service, and the Merchant of Record terms shown at checkout. Contact support@indieswell.com or use the contact page.
